Applying to Miracle Live! School Idol Roleplay is pretty easy. Just fill out the form below! Here's a run-down:

Player: You.
Character: Your character.
Canon: Where your character is from! If you're apping an OC, just say that.

Age/School Year: First, second, or third year. Depending on your character's birthday, they might be older or younger at this point, but generally, first-years will be 15, second-years 16, and third-years 17.
Personality: A general overview of how and why your character acts the way they do. Feel free to relate it back to canon, but remember that the main focus here is the AU.
AU Overview: Basically a history section, but by popular demand, it's made very simple. I mean, if you do write a 3K-word history section with every detail of your character's life story, I'll love you forever, but it's not necessary and I doubt anyone wants to do it. You can just write a few sentences establishing your character in the world of the game.

For example, "Honoka is a second-year whose family runs a bakery. She's a third-generation Otonokizaka student and wants to be a school idol ever since she saw A-RISE and decided that if Otonokizaka could harness popularity like theirs, it could save the school. She drags her childhood friends Kotori and Umi into everything (see their apps), and she has a younger sister who's considering applying to a different school."

(Remember, if you're apping with someone else, make sure to clear any backstory connections with them! You can also use our AU plotting post.)

Character Symbol: Can't be a school idol without an iconic symbol! Describe it here. Everyone's symbol should be something simple and related to their character. For example, Yoshiko's is a devil face, Chisato's is a takoyaki, and Kanata's is a sheep.
Image Colour: Put two or three suggestions here, just so we don't get ten different shades of orange.

Sample: Link a thread with your character within the last 3 years. Canon or in the context of the AU is fine. If you were in the Dress Rehearsal and/or used the TDM, you can link threads from there, too!

Applications are open on March 27, 2022 for the main game, running April 3 to sometime in July.

Player: Incardine
Character: Rita Mordio
Canon: Tales of Vesperia

Age/School Year: 15, First-Year.
Personality: Rita hasn't had a lot of positive relationships, see bio. She tends to trust technologies over people, but quietly yearns for actual friendly or even romantic relationships... A task made harder by her tendency to brag about her formidable intellect. Even if she can back it up, it can grate.

She's also, though subtly, not as mature as she pretends to be - chomping on candies without really noticing she's doing so, occasional curves toward coarser language, and a sleep schedule that is probably powered by unhealthy levels of caffeine.

AU Overview: Rita Mordio is a brilliant but kind of angry young case of a girl; her parents were well-off... Until they died when she was maybe two years old. She only remembers their faces from photographs, and hasn't had a lot of positive relationships offline since. She's quite the tech fiend as a result... And easily dragged into things, which might actually get her into some good friendships.

Character Symbol: Rita's symbol is goggles with cat ears. She's not sure who added the cat ears, but isn't protesting.

Image Colour: Rita could be red, goldenrod, or for a slightly more unusual pick, charcoal gray.
